Kitchen larder project – Amy Buchanan

By September 6, 2021September 21st, 2021No Comments

Overview & Brief

We worked with young designer Amy Buchanan, who wanted to design a piece of furniture using our terrazzo.

At the time, Amy was studying Furniture and Product Design at Nottingham Trent. As a requirement of her course, she had to make a piece of furniture. She decided to make a freestanding kitchen larder.

To compliment her other materials – ‘Red Earth’ Farrow & Ball paint, reclaimed birch plywood and matt black hardware – shed opted to go for our TE007 for the worktop.

Amy has since finished her course. She informed us shortly after that her larder has been shortlisted for the Bespoke award at the Young Furniture Makers Exhibition.
